Rebecca was born and raised in Stettler, Alberta. Growing up with two brothers brought out the adventurous side of her and grew her love for hockey. She started her hockey career in Stettler at the age of seven and eventually moved on to play U18 AAA in Red Deer. From there she was scouted to play a year in division lll in New Hampshire. Her hockey career has created a big passion for sports therapy and helping athletes get back to the best they can be. She completed her RMT certification at Alberta College of Massage Therapy in Red Deer in 2025. She is very excited to take all of the extra courses to broaden her knowledge. A few of the courses she is most looking forward too are the sports massage, Crainiosacral and cupping techniques. In her spare time Rebecca loves spending time outdoors, hiking and camping with her partner and their dog. She also gives back to her community by coaching and mentoring young hockey players.

Steph was born and raised in Southern BC and made the move to Lacombe in 2022, where she soon found her calling in massage therapy. After completing 18 months of training at ACMT, she became a Registered Massage Therapist with a strong focus on therapeutic and deep tissue massage.

Steph has a keen interest in sports-related injuries and rehabilitation, as well as pre- and post-natal care. She’s passionate about helping people feel and move better, especially those who lead active lifestyles.

Blake was born and raised in Red Deer. He grew up playing hockey, tennis, and soccer within the community and graduated high school from Ecole Notre Dame. After high school, he took time off from his education to play Junior “A” hockey in the BCHL and AJHL. Blake began his post secondary education at Red Deer College where he gained his Kinesiology diploma and transferred to the University of Alberta to finish his bachelor of physical education.

Blake obtained his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta and then moved back to Red Deer to pursue a career as a physiotherapist. Blake has also been a part-time instructor in the Occupational and Physical therapy assistant program (OPTA) for the past five years. Blake has taken training to become a Certified Manual Therapist and is on the Physiotherapy Alberta roster for spinal manipulation. He has also been certified in Functional Dry Needling (FDN) and is on the Physiotherapy Alberta roster for dry needling (also called IMS).

Blake has a strong belief that both active and passive therapies are necessary for complete resolution and prevention of injuries. He has a passion for treating all levels of athletes. His goal is to assist his patients achieve optimal performance and provide them with the proper tools to get there.

Jen was born and raised in the small town of Goderich in southwest Ontario. She grew up playing club volleyball and competitive softball. After high school, Jen moved to London, Ontario, where she earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours Biology and Physiology) from the University of Western Ontario. She later relocated to Alberta to complete her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta.

Since graduating, Jen has worked in various private practice clinics before co-founding Stride Physiotherapy & Wellness in 2018. Her vision was to provide Central Albertans with improved access to high-quality healthcare. Jen is credentialed to perform several restricted activities, including the use of needles in practice (Functional Dry Needling and Acupuncture), ordering diagnostic imaging, performing spinal manipulations, and conducting pelvic health internal examinations. She has also completed extensive post-graduate training, with a particular focus on Women’s Health.

Jen treats a wide range of conditions from head to toe, with special interests in chronic headaches, jaw dysfunction, and hip pain. She is deeply passionate about supporting women through all life stages, particularly during hormonal transitions such as perimenopause and menopause. She focuses on the impact of these changes on musculoskeletal and bone health, striving to enhance care and support for women navigating these significant phases. She also enjoys working with women during their prenatal and post-partum journeys, empowering them for labour and delivery, and helping them return to activity. Jen’s ultimate goal is to help her patients get back to doing what they love through a combination of hands-on manual therapy, education, and tailored exercise programs.

Darby grew up in Three Hills, Alberta and spent most of her adolescent years playing numerous sports. It was through participating in competitive sports and having a fair share of her own injuries she became interested in the area of injury and rehabilitation. Darby completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy (MScPT) in 2021 at University College Dublin in Ireland with first class honors. Prior to this, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (BScKin) from the University of Alberta in 2018. Darby has worked in a variety of clinical settings and enjoys helping her clients get back to doing what they love. She believes in a comprehensive multidisciplinary approach to patient care that is goal-oriented and grounded in evidence-based research. In her free time, Darby enjoys staying active and spending time in the mountains hiking, skiing, biking, camping, and paddle boarding.

Chris was born & raised in Cardiff, Wales. Growing up his sport of choice was rugby which he represented School, Varsity and Club levels. He has always had a keen interest in the Medical Sciences and followed this through to a Degreein Applied Biology at the University of Nottingham (UK). Through his interest in the rehabilitation field Chris initially gained qualifications to become Massage Therapist. He transitioned to working as a PT Aide and then graduated as a Physiotherapist in 2009 from Sheffield Hallam University (UK).

Chris gained broad experience in assessment, diagnosis and treatment methods across many clinical areas including Sports Therapy, Outpatient and Inpatient Physiotherapy, Trauma Orthopaedics, Hand Therapy, Acute Care, Elderly care and Rheumatology while working for the NHS in the United Kingdom.

Since Moving to Canada in 2014, Chris has worked in Private Practice and Rehab settings in Alberta, He believes listening to his clients and critical thinking are essential skills in helping people accomplish their individual rehabilitation goals. Chris enjoys assisting with all injuries and has a special interest in Hand Therapy, upper limb rehabilitation and chronic conditions.
